Reel Races, Reel Thrills and Clash of Spins – get bonus on top of your bonus

Reel Races, Reel Thrills and Clash of Spins are some of the most popular features on resp. Mr Green and Videoslots, and although there are differences, the basic idea is the same: they are small, quick tournaments where you can win Free Spins or cash, and although the prizes are good enough, it does not cost extra to participate in them. They start all the time (every fifteen minutes, half hour or hour around the clock), but at some times there is extra in the prize pool.

The tournaments offer a number of advantages that almost make it silly not to participate:

• You can play for bonus money (on Mr Green), but the winnings are “real” money
• There is no extra cost to participate – you play slot machines exactly as you normally would
• You can participate around the clock, but at certain times there are extra large prize pools

Mr Green and Videoslots give out Cash Spins, i.e. Free Spins without playthrough requirements. At Mr Green, you have to sign up and play on a specific slot machine, while you participate completely automatically on Videoslots.

How to convert your bonus into cash

At Mr Green you can play for bonus money, while all you win are Cash Spins at Mr Green, which in turn trigger cash when you play them. This means that you can use your bonus balance to win cash that does not require additional playthrough. It is of course also possible that you win on the slot machine at the same time as you win one of the prizes in the tournament, and then it is just twice as good: You of course still have the playthrough requirement for the bonus, but your cash balance has grown.

Reel Races at Casumo: Win Cash

At Casumo you can participate in Reel Races for both bonus and real money. All winnings are cash. Usually 5-10 of the participants in the tournament win between DKK 50 and 1,000, but 3-4 times a week – on selected days at 20:00 – Casumo holds a Boosted Reel Race with DKK 20,000 in the prize pool. To participate, you must register during Reel Race and then play on a specific slot machine. The slot machine works completely normally, but every time you win you collect points for the leaderboard:

• 3 wins in a row give 5 points
• 2 big wins (at least 15x the bet) give 35 points
• A mega win (at least 30x the bet) gives 100 points

You have a limited number of spins (typically 4-600) and a limited amount of time (typically 50 minutes) to collect as many points as possible. The top 5-10 on the leaderboard when the tournament ends receive a cash prize. You can always follow your own position while playing.

At Casumo you get a 100% bonus up to DKK 1,000 when you make your first deposit. Remember to activate the bonus under My valuables before you deposit. Deposit and bonus must be played through 10 times before you can withdraw – i.e. DKK 2,000 for a deposit of DKK 100. You can withdraw at any time, but the bonus and winnings from this will be cancelled, so it is a good idea to complete the entire playthrough requirement before withdrawing.

If you win money in a Reel Race, this does not increase your playthrough requirement. So you still only have to play through the original amount before you can withdraw. However, winnings from Reel Races will likely be considered winnings from your bonus, so if you withdraw before the playthrough requirement for the bonus has been completed, you risk losing your Reel Race winnings.
